This is a 9-month engagelebt to cover a maternity leave — perfect for an experienced payroll professional ready to hit the ground running and make an impact!

📝 Your Main Responsibilities

As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll be a key member of the Luxembourg payroll team. Your role will include:

🔹 Payroll Execution:

  • Manage monthly payroll in close collaboration with an external payroll provider
  • Review gross-to-net calculations, ensure compliance, and follow up on administrative tasks
  • Handle accounting entries and monthly closings
  • Maintain accurate payroll records

🔹 Vendor & Internal Communication:

  • Coordinate with the external payroll vendor and ensure service quality
  • Act as a point of contact for associate inquiries (pay slips, tax certificates, etc.)
  • Liaise daily with the HR Shared Service Center

🔹 Benefits & Time Management:

  • Administer time & attendance systems
  • Manage employee benefits and support related processes
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on payroll, reporting, compensation, and benefits

🔹 Compliance & Projects:

  • Stay updated on legal and tax regulations affecting payroll and benefits
  • Participate in payroll-related projects (such as new system implementations)
  • Act as the go-to expert for payroll, benefits, and salary taxation topics


👤 Your Profile & What We Offer

🔎 Who we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, or similar
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in payroll processing
  • Fluency in English and French is required – Luxembourgish or German is a strong plus
  • You’re organized, precise, a great communicator and comfortable with numbers
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong administrative skills are essential
  • A team player with high integrity and adaptability
