How did you hear about the CEO 1 Month program?

Via social media channels from a friend who participated in Italy last year and the Career Newsletter of the University of Luxembourg.

What was your main motivation?

First of all, I wanted to discuss my opportunities in such a competitive program, and of course this challenge also brings with it very large learning effects directly from the management perspective, which is incredibly valuable to my future career.

What was your expectation?

I looked at the social media channels of former CEO for one month to get an overview. Still, it was very hard to imagine what it really would be like. My expectations were far exceeded and the contact with Fabrice Poncé was more intense than expected.

How can you describe the Bootcamp of June? How did you feel about it?

Before the bootcamp I was a little stressed because I didn’t know what to expect. The stress disappeared in a few minutes and I forgot I was in a competition. I am very happy that I got to know the other finalists. It was a constructive cooperation and I could already learn a lot here. Individual challenges has as well a fun part and the day flew by. The familiar atmosphere in the office made a significant contribution to the fact that all finalists were able to show their best side.

During the month as CEO, what did you like best?

The month as a CEO flew by, which is already a sign that it never got boring. I liked the direct contact with the management team and the intensive exchange about the daily business, the challenges in leading teams, but also the general economic market situation.

What inspired you most?

Fabrice Poncé's approach that it is not about being the best in different fields, but that the real recipe for success is to select and promote the right team members. And the success of recent years demonstrates this expressively.

What are the 3 points you will take for your professional future?

First of all, that there is not ONE management style that can guarantee success. Everyone has to develop themselves and identify the style of leadership that best suits them. It is not only about yourself, but also about the team that surrounds you.

Are you still dreaming about becoming CEO?

The month as CEO for one month has definitely strengthened my desire to take leadership responsibility in the future. Watching Fabrice Poncé, Julie Noirhomme and François Dauphin lead their teams and be very successful spurs us on to emulate this success.

What are your ambitions for your career?

As already mentioned, I would like to take on responsibility in the future and strive for a career in management. It is very important to me to create values and to create something of my own, to which I and others can be proud and generate real added value for society.

What advice do you have for the future applicants? Maybe your own questions or concerns you had with the application process?

Nothing ventured nothing gained. It is definitely worth submitting your application and participating in the assessment process. Alone here you can already gain very valuable experience. You get the opportunity to meet extraordinary personalities in the bootcamp and even if another CEO becomes one month you still have direct contact with Adecco and there is nothing in the way of an internship. Just openly approach the matter and present yourself from the best side and you sit faster than you think in the executive chair, at least for a month.
