Here at Adecco, temp workers are considered as full employees. They represent their temp agency, they are its ambassadors. They benefit from the same treatment as customers.
Adecco agencies strive to get to know a temporary worker and his/her skills and aspirations through face-to-face interviews. Temp workers may also benefit from training. This is one of the reasons why our agencies are organised by sector:
A temp worker is given all information on his assignment before starting it. We make sure that he matches the employer, the assignment and the overall environment. Adecco ensures compliance with collective agreements in the host company, with temp workers enjoying the same benefits as permanent staff.
As a matter of course, temp workers are equipped with all the necessary personal protection equipment needed for the work, and Adecco goes out to companies to check compliance with safety requirements.
Occupational health and safety training is provided at Adecco and at company sites.
Adecco was the first Luxembourg temp agency to gain OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health Assessment Services) certification (in 2010). This is an international norm supporting companies in assessing their management of health and safety at work. Compliance with the norm can be certified.
This year, Adecco has provided its temp workers with a Sympass card, entitling them to reductions in shops, cinemas, leisure parks, etc. Via such solidarity actions as Win4Youth, Adecco also supports temp workers in their fight for a more equitable society.
