Paid leave
Are you entitled to paid leave?Yes. Luxembourg's paid leave law is very strict and requires that it be taken in kind or paid at the end of an assignment. What about public holidays?If an assignment for a given client ends on the last working day prior to a public holiday and if a new contract is signed for the same client by the same temping company starting on the next working day following that public holiday, the employee is entitled to payment in lieu of the public holiday in question (Art. 9.2 of the collective contract applicable to temps).
